Directions For Use

1.  Before retiring for the night, clean your hearing aid (and ear molds, if you have them) with disinfectant wipes, or as directed by your hearing aid provider.

2.  Open battery doors.  Always remove batteries!

3.  Place the hearing aid on the screen side of the dessicant.

4.  Replace the lid and close tightly.

Directions to Reactivate

When all desiccant beads are green, it is time to reactivate.  Place desiccant, screen side up, in microwave and heat for 30 seconds on high.  Cool for 20 minutes.  Do not reheat before cooling completely.  Most beads will have a yellowish tint, which means it is ready to use.

Option:  Reactivate in conventional oven.  Remove desiccant from jar and bake, screen side up, for 1 hour at 200 degrees F (93 C), or until beads are yellow.  Allow desiccant to cool before handling. 

DO NOT PLACE HEARING AID

IN MICROWAVE OR OVEN AT ANY TIME.

Super Dri-Aid and Mini Super Dri-Aid

Directions For Use

1.  Before retiring for the night, clean your hearing aid (and ear molds, if you have them) with disinfectant wipes, or as directed by your hearing aid provider.

2.  Open battery doors.  Always remove batteries!

3.  Place the hearing aid on the foam pad.

4.  Close cover securely.

5.  Remove hearing aid next day when ready for use.

Directions to Reactivate

The small quantity of blue pellets are there to let you know when to reactivate.  When all pellets are white (same color), it is time to reactivate.  After reactivating the blue pellets will reappear.  Pellets are non-toxic.  

Warning:  If ingested, drink 2 glasses of water and induce vomiting.

Microwave:  Evenly spread the Dri-Aid Pellets on a Pyrex oven proof (glass or ceramic) plate and place in microwave.  Set microwave to medium (half power).  Microwave for 30 seconds.  Cool.  If blue pellets do not appear, allow desiccant to complete cool before repeating the 30 second process.  Reheating when still warm can kill the activator.  DO NOT set microwave on high, or heat for longer than 30 second intervals.

Conventional Oven:  Evenly spread the Dri-Aid Pellets on a Pyrex oven proof (glass or ceramic) plate.  Preheat oven to 350 F.  Place plate in oven, uncovered, and bake for approximately 30 minutes.  Bake at additional 10 minute intervals, cooling thoroughly between intervals, until the blue pellets appear, if necessary.

Caution:  Pellets will be very hot.  Allow to cool before putting pellets back into the jar.

 DO NOT put the jar in any type of oven.

DO NOT place desiccant in broiler or open flame,

or cook in a pan.

DO NOT PLACE HEARING AID

IN MICROWAVE OR OVEN AT ANY TIME.

Mini Dri-Aid

• Plastic outer container
• Inner metal container with crystals
• Removes damaging moisture from Behind-The-Ear and In-The-Ear hearing aids

Directions For Use

1.  Before retiring for the night, clean your hearing aid (and ear molds, if you have them) with disinfectant wipes, or as directed by your hearing aid provider.

2.  Open battery doors.  Always remove batteries!

3.  Remove foam pad from plastic jar and remove labels from top and bottom of metal container.

4.  Place metal container back in jar with window side facing upward, and place foam pad on top.

5.  Place hearing aid on top of foam pad and replace lid and close securely.

6.  Remove hearing aid next day when ready to use.

Directions to Reactivate

When the chemical in the window turns pink, the crystals need to be reactivated. To do this, heat metal container in oven at approximately 350 degrees for 30 minutes, or until blue color is restored. 
Cool before using. Repeat as required.

 DO NOT place outer plastic container in any oven at any time.

DO NOT PLACE HEARING AID

IN ANY OVEN AT ANY TIME.

Dri-Aid Kit

• Plastic pouch
• Inner metal container with crystals
• Prevents hearing aid damage due to excessive moisture
• Protects all types of hearing aids

Directions For Use

1.  Before retiring for the night, clean your hearing aid (and ear molds, if you have them) with disinfectant wipes, or as directed by your hearing aid provider.

2.  Always remove hearing aid battery before placing the hearing aid in the Dri-Aid pouch!

3.  Remove labels from top and bottom of metal container.

4.  Place hearing together with Dri-Aid container inside the pouch provided.

5.  Roll down the pouch top and snap shut.

6.  Remove hearing aid only, when ready to use.

7.  Leave metal container inside pouch and reseal pouch.  Resealing provides the same seal as the label which you originally took off the container.

Directions to Reactivate
